Brief: Davy Jones Liquor is an original adult beverage created to display package design fundamentals. A custom logomark was designed with a middle-aged audience in mind. The bottle wrap incorporates the logo, an original patterned background, a brand history, and nutritional information.
The brand is geared toward a middle-aged audience interested in a stout, flavorful experience. The pirate icon evokes a sense of adventure and mystery, complementary to the variety of unique alcohol blends provided by the brand. The bottle wrap unifies the brand aesthetic by implementing a rugged, map-inspired pattern. Atop each bottle is an ornamental rope and cork, solidifying the brand identity in the classic pirate theme.

After deciding on the name, Davy Jones Liquor, I began by sketching out a few versions of a pirate-themed mascot and landed on a more excited and aggressive appearance. I finalized the logo, established the brand colors, picked complimentary fonts, and created secondary elements. Finally, mockup photos and advertisements were designed to display the Davy Jones Liquor brand, maintaining the rugged, pirate aesthetic throughout.
