New Moon Macaroon

Brief: New Moon is an original food product created to display package design fundamentals. For this project, a custom combination mark was created to provide customers with a better sense of what the product is. Three cylindrical packages were the foundation of the structure and an illustrated product wrap was designed to enclose all 3 containers.
I began by establishing the brand identity, choosing a nighttime aesthetic to capture the concept of a midnight snack. The macaroon logomark is shaped to resemble a moon and is was placed at the top of package to draw the eye. A night sky was used as the background of the product and an indented color wrap at the cylinders connection was point was implemented to display the products various flavors. An illustrated cloud wrap unifies the package into a beautiful nighttime scene.

Brand identity
After deciding on the name, New Moon Macaroon, I began by sketching out a few versions of a midnight-snack inspired logo and landed on a more moody yet tranquil appearance. I finalized the logo, established the brand colors, picked complimentary fonts, and created secondary elements. Finally, mockup photos and advertisements were designed to display the New Moon Macaroon brand, maintaining the calming and alluring aesthetic.
